Col Hunter is a small idle rhythm game about collecting real cycling climbs.

🚴 Climb in rhythm. Tap along with your pedal strokes. Every climb has its own tune, the tempo follows the gradient, and good timing builds your flow. Later on, race against rivals, with hairpin descents in between.

🏔️ Collect. 29 real climbs from the Vosges and the Jura, with their true profiles. Every summit makes you stronger, for good.

💤 Train while you're away. Send your rider to a training camp before you leave, and open the bag when you come back.

🏘️ Villages along the way: a bike workshop, sprints, time trials, cyclocross, and souvenirs to collect.

A full run takes about a day of real time, with around an hour of actual play. Keyboard (← → or F J, then 4 keys in the Jura) or touch. English and French. Progress is saved in your browser; you can export your save at the bottom of the game.

Still in development, so feedback is very welcome, here in the comments or through the link in the game.

I've got to the second region and have more feedback:

I've completed first region using only arrows, so second one caused a huge difficulty spike - first of all maybe I'm bad but I find using arrows impossible, DFJK is much better in that regard. Secondly, because finding all four keys without muscle memory is quite hard, perhaps 3 sec countdown before level start would be handy.

Also, bike upgrades feel completely underwelming. I know they make sense from realism perspective, but maybe make them visual upgrades down the development, so while being almost useless players at least can see their bike transfrom from half-broken rust bucket to a sleek racing monster.

UI doesn't fit the game window and there is no scroll or fullscreen

Thanks a lot for reporting this! It's fixed in the latest update: the game now scrolls inside the window, and there's a fullscreen button in the top bar. Let me know if anything still doesn't fit on your screen.

Fixed, work perfectly. I really like the game so far, other thing I am missing currently is an option to quickly restart the run

I would also like to support you, but can't find an option to do so

Thanks a lot, really glad you're enjoying it! Both are in the new version:

- Quick restart: press R (or the "Restart" button) during a climb to start again from the bottom. Q gives up.

- Support: donations are now open on the game page, and there's a "♥ Support the game" link at the bottom of the game.

Honestly though, what helps me most is feedback like yours: anything that feels off, too easy, too hard or missing, tell me in the comments. Thanks again!
